I found the staff very helpful. They quickly provided a temporary room. I could rest after a long flight from JFK. Later, my upgraded room was ready. It was fantastic. The restaurant recommendations were excellent. I enjoyed Portuguese food for lunch and dinner. The bell and housekeeping staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was superior. The coffee was very satisfying.
I thought that no offer of a discount for an expensive night was annoying.

I found the breakfast service well-managed with table service instead of a buffet. All dining rooms have beautiful decor. the room had a very nice view facing the garden. the shops and terraces are within walking distance from a wonderful location.
I found the bar staff a bit unhelpful. They seemed disinterested in serving, even though we were a larger group.
